Customer Rating: Summary: A True Masterpiece! Comment: The Armenian Massacres in the Ottoman Empire are a very interesting topic and is labeled by Armenian scholars as the Armenian Genocide. The issue is widely and hotly debated by scholars. However, there seems to be a consensus that there is not sufficient proof of intent to indicate that the events could be considered genocide, among Western historians that are experts in the Ottoman Empire. Do not be alarmed by the bad ratings given by people who clearly have Armenian last names, they obviously feel threatened by facts that might disagree with what they have been taught for decades by their elders. If you're interested in the subject, this DVD will not disappoint you! Also you may want to read a book by a Western historian such as the one by Guenter Lewy below:
